Reiki Coordinator
Tina Doordan is an active member of the Annapolis Reiki Community. She is a Reiki Master and volunteers with other masters and practitioners in the local community to provide relaxation sessions to area seniors and information to those interested in learning about complementary health options.
Tina has a background in health services, having previously worked for the Health Department in the Anne Arundel County Schools Health Room as a certified nursing assistant. She also served as a board member for many years at the YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, a fundraiser and volunteer at the Arden House, and on several advisory committees in the county.
Her most recent contribution is to the Wellness House where she provides information about Reiki, a Japanese method of relaxation, and offers a monthly event where Reiki practitioners from the community join her to share the gift of Reiki. She is committed to bringing this powerful yet gentle energy to cancer patients, their families, and their caregivers.
Tina is delighted to become a member of the Wellness House family and will continue her commitment to sharing the gift of Reiki with others in a gentle, positive atmosphere.
